Associate students are PANDA students. They benefit from the same advantages of being part of the PANDA student cohort, training courses, visits and events. What distinguishes associate students is that they do not receive their funding from the PANDA nuclear doctoral focal award. 

Supervisors, acknowledging the benefits of PANDA have chosen to use external funding to support their students to be part of PANDA. This may mean that stipends offered for these studentships may differ from the directly funded projects listed above. Please discuss this with your prospective supervisor when discussing these opportunities.
